  • Honey is one of the oldest food products in the world. The first evidence of human production of honey dates back some 15,000 years.
  • Bees lived on Earth even before humans appeared on it. The evidence is an insect sunk in amber, estimated to be 100,000,000 years old.
  • The oldest image of a bee is a rock drawing in the Cuevs de la Araña cave and is dated n 8000-6000 BC.
